Sites written to stand above their market.

The premium line of Presive. Every page written by hand, for one business.

The Hallam Slate study at its finished roof: a slate slope in late light against a Bath-stone parapet and chimney stack, with the line “Every slate on it is doing a job. None of it is decoration.”

What’s different

What a written site does.

  1. Written by hand, page by page.

No builder, no template. The slate course on Hallam Slate is drawn for that roof.

The Hallam Slate course drawing mid-way: slates laid course by course over battens.
  2. Motion with a reason.

Movement shows how the work is done, never decoration.

The Kelderhall plan drawing itself: ground-floor walls drawn in graphite on paper.
  3. Nothing borrowed.

Fonts, images and scripts come from the site’s own domain.

The Selwen Rooms gallery: rendered bedrooms in a row, each window on the same sea line.
  4. Checked before it’s handed over.

Speed, accessibility and every link, tested on the finished site.

All three studies score 98–99 out of 100 for speed on a phone and 100 for accessibility, with no broken links.

How it runs

Four steps, one person.

  1. The brief

You tell us about the business. We read it and ask what it leaves open.

  2. A fixed quote

One price and one date, agreed before any work starts.

  3. The build

You see the pages as they are written and ask for changes directly.

  4. Handover

You get the files, the hosting set up, and the test report.

For businesses that want to be better than their market.

Questions

The ones we get asked.

Can you build it on WordPress?
Not for a site like this: we write the HTML, so there is no plugin to patch and no builder to outgrow. A shop that needs a back office is different; see eCommerce.
Does it start with a call?
No. It starts with the brief, and the quote lands in your inbox. You can talk to the developer whenever you like; nothing waits on a call.
Can it grow later?
Yes. A page is a file; adding one is adding one. Bigger changes go through the same quote as the first build.

Ready when you are.
Send the brief.
