What we collect, and where it goes

Two things on this site send data anywhere: the quote form, and the page counter, which runs on every page once you allow analytics. This is what each one collects, in full.

The quote form

Everything the wizard on the quote page sends when you press send, and nothing else:

  • Company name and email address, required.
  • A phone number, optional.
  • A link to your Google Business Profile, optional.
  • A link to your current site or brand, optional.
  • The services you picked, your answers to the short questions under them (a new or existing site, the size, the timing), and the package, when the question applied to what you chose.
  • Anything you write under Anything we should know?, optional.
  • Whether you checked the marketing opt-in.
  • Which page sent you, when you arrived from a service row: the row’s name, nothing more.
  • Session identifiers written by the page counter below, so the inquiry can be joined to the visit that produced it. Every one of them is optional: with the counter blocked, the form still sends and is still accepted.

There is one hidden field the form also carries. It is a spam trap: it is invisible, a person never fills it, and a submission that has it filled in is discarded.

Where it goes

To Ledger, our own forms and analytics service, at ledger.presive.co. Nothing on this site posts anywhere else, and there are no third-party trackers, advertising pixels or embedded widgets on any page.

The page counter

It sets no cookies. It does not follow you between sites, and it stores no identifier on your device that outlives the visit.

For each page view it records the page address, the time, the site, and a visit identifier. Per visit it also records where you came from (the referring site and campaign tags, when the link carried them), plus a device type, operating system, browser and two-letter country.

You are counted with a daily figure, not a name: your IP address and browser string go through a one-way hash together with a salt that is replaced every day and the previous one deleted. After the day ends the figure cannot be matched back to an address. Your IP address itself is never stored: there is no field for it.

Cookies and browser storage

No page on this site sets a cookie. What it keeps in your browser, in full:

  • presive_consent, in local storage: the choice you made in the “Storage & privacy” banner (essential only, or analytics as well) and when you made it. Essential: without it the banner would ask again on every page. It stays until you clear your browser’s site data.
  • presive_consent_later, in session storage: set only if you close the banner without choosing, so it does not come back on every page of this visit. It records no choice, and it is gone when you close the tab.
  • The page counter above, only if you allow analytics. Until then its script is not even requested. When it runs it keeps a random visit identifier in the page’s memory, not in a cookie or in storage, so it is gone when you leave the page.
  • The demo store at /demo/linde-and-co keeps its sample basket in local storage (linde-cart-v1) and the last sample order in session storage (linde-order-v1). Nothing in the demo is sent anywhere.

If you allow analytics, this is everything that is sent

Each item is one short message to our own server. There is no advertising network, no third party, and nothing that identifies you.

  • The page you opened: its address, and the site you came from if you arrived from a link.
  • How the page performed: how long it stayed open, how far down you scrolled, and the browser’s own loading measurements.
  • Which button you pressed: the section of the page it was in, for example “hero” or “faq”. Not what you typed.
  • Which service you picked in the quote form, and how many steps of it you reached: a number, not the answers.
  • Which site tour you started: the name of the case study.
  • Links to other sites you followed from here: the destination host.

A random number stands in for the visit so two page views can be counted as one visit. It is made fresh each time, it is kept in the page’s memory rather than in storage, and it is gone when you leave. If your browser sends “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control, the counter does not start at all, whatever the banner says.

Fonts, images and scripts all load from this domain; no page asks another company’s server for anything. You can change your choice at any time with , also at the foot of every page.

The marketing opt-in

Checking it is the only thing that puts you on a list. It covers occasional notes by email and, if you gave a phone number, by text message (SMS). It is never checked for you, every email carries a one-click unsubscribe, and you can withdraw it for both at any time by writing to contact@presive.co. Leaving it alone changes nothing about your quote.

Text messages: how often varies, and your carrier’s message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to stop them, or HELP for help. We do not sell or share your phone number or your opt-in with anyone for their own marketing.

Asking us about your data
